The Financial Organizational Document is an organizational sheet that directs you and or your love ones to locate the most important people and documents in your life. If used correctly, this is the single most important document of your life particularly during emergency and or challenging times.
Do you remember if you have an insurance policy? Where is it? Do you have accounts that you opened in your child’s name, are they aware of it? It may take a while to fill in the information, but I promise you it will be well worth it. It removes the stress and discord that may happen during emergencies.
Fill in as much as possible, think of the end result not only for yourself but for others as well. Review and update at least once a year preferably with your trusted spouse, family member or professional i.e. lawyer, financial advisor etc. Keep a password protected electronic copy or a paper copy in a secure place i.e. safety deposit box.
This document is your document, make it as complete as you want it to be.
